Historical Architectures Renovation Strategy under the Guidance of the Ecologic Concept
In the light of the current status concerning the update of historical building, this thesis proposes that the update of historical building should be combined with ecological concepts, to apply eco-design elements in the renovation of historical architectures, integrate eco-design techniques into the historicalarchitectures renovation strategy and achieve the ecological transformation of the system so as to promote eologicalization in the historical architecturesrenovation system. Architecture and architectural engineering are fields involved in the design and construction of buildings. Working in close association with architects, architectural engineers translate people's needs and desires into physical space by applying a wide range of engineering and other technologies to provide building systems that are functional, safe, economical, environmentally healthy, and in harmony with the architect's aesthetic intent.
Definition and Basic Principles
Architecture and architectural engineering are complex and highly skilled fields. Architects develop the graphic design of buildings or dwellings and are often directly involved in their construction. Architectural engineers are certified professionals specializing in the application of engineering principles and systems technology to the design and function of a building. The term “architecture” sometimes includes the engineering technologies of building design. Architecture applies aesthetics, measurement, and design to the cooperative organization of human life. An essential dynamic of this process is the creation of technology. The engineering profession designs a magnitude of objects, structures, and environments to meet human needs and purposes. Building engineers specialize in the technologies that benefit human health and well-being within a built environment. These technologies are the direct result of exponential advances in the manipulation of chemical, hydraulic, thermal, electrical, acoustical, computational, and mechanical systems. Solar, wind, andnuclear power play an important role in the creation of sustainable buildings and environments, and the innovative use of new and recycled construction materials is an essential part of efficient planning and design.

El arquitecto de paisaje Rodrigo Pyret nos habla sobre como cayó en la cuenta de que era habitual oír de edificios ecológicos pero la mayoría se limitaba a incorporar algunos artilugios para ahorrar energía o reciclar el agua y no existe ningún sistema de construcción que proveche al máximo la tecnología disponible para no deteriorar al ambiente.
